The Cedar Valley Farmers Market, at the L&N Depot, was founded by Jeremiah Smith and is a true local market. Doyle’s Cedar Hill Restaurant lives by the motto “Buy Fresh, Eat Local” and has sponsored the market since 2002. Located at the old L&N Depot in downtown Murphy you will only find one of a kind, either grown by hand by the seller or hand created items. They do not allow anyone to buy and resell products here.
The market has prospered and grown into a large group of local farmers and craftsmen who make their living bringing you chemical free food and handcrafted products. Some of the things you can find there on Saturday’s are: fresh produce, baskets, pottery, wood carvings, blacksmith goods, canned goods, soap, eggs, cheese, meats, handmade cosmetics, jewelry and much more!
Don’t forget to stop by The Cedar Valley Farmers market on Saturday’s from 9am to 1pm, April through October at the L&N Depot downtown Murphy NC.
