Oct 1st is a busy day. Steins and wines at the square in Hayesville. Tastings of 4 craft brews and 6 wineries is sponsored by Historic Hayesville Inc. this year. Music and Food vendors will also be present. Proceeds to benefit the Historic Courthouse Renovation Fund. Tickets ($20 before & $25 day of) available after 9/15/2016 at the Chamber of Commerce and the Centennial Exhibit.
The John C Campbell Fall festival is underway. Visit over 240 fine craft exhibitors tucked along the school’s winding wooded paths. Watch more than 40 artisans demonstrate traditional and contemporary crafts. Fill your ears with bluegrass, gospel, folk, and Celtic music on both days. Tap your toes to clogging, Morris, and Garland dance performances throughout the weekend and much more.
Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River will host and outdoor concert with Ronnie Milsap to celebrate their first anniversary. North Carolina native, Ronnie Milsap, will perform a FREE concert at Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel on Saturday, October 1st at 7 pm, as part of its Birthday Bash celebration. The renowned country singer/songwriter brings his repertoire of 40 #1 country hits to the Murphy, NC casino for the first time!
October 8th Andrews Brewing Co., Hoppy Trout Brewing Company and Calaboose Cellars are joining together to host Oktoberfest in Andrews, Saturday, Oct. 8, 2 to 8 p.m., in Hall Park, First Street, Andrews.Music, food, beer and even wine on tap.
October 7th to 15th you can find the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds Fall festival in Hiawassee, GA.
October 21st to 23rd is the Cherokee County Fair Best of the West.
Octoberfest is celebrated the whole month in Helen, GA.
