The paper arts have made a huge comeback and more and more people want to learn the five areas of paper art which are books, paper, printmaking, marbling and calligraphy. The paper arts program is one of the premier areas of study at the school and offering 36 courses. Limited space has made the program difficult to to expand since the program shares a classroom with another program.
The new Paper Arts Studio is planned to be built in the field across from the painting studio. It will be 2800 square feet with and additional 850 square feet of outside workshop. Preliminary planning for the project has already begun and hopes to have the studio completed and opened by October 2014.
